Experience From the HEART Ministry of KY Inc

At From the HEART Ministry of KY Inc, our mission is to love God and love people by meeting them right where they are in life, being the hands and feet of Jesus and encouraging a personal relationship with Christ, by being an example of the love that Jesus showed according to scripture. “He has shown you, oh man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8“...But through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13

HEART Bags

Feeding the Forgotten

We provide HEART bags to individuals entering addiction rehabilitation centers, so that they can begin their journey with the Word of God and tools to help them develop their relationship with Christ. Each HEART Bag contains a Celebrate Recovery Study Bible (NIV), Celebrate Recovery 28-day devotional, notebook, pen, highlighter, a handheld olive-wood cross from Jerusalem, and a handwritten notecard letting them know they are never alone and they are loved. We are currently supplying HEART bags to Lake Cumberland Recovery(Somerset and Campbellsville), Isaiah House Treatment Facility, ARC centers and several others!
We are ready, willing and able to partner with new addiction recovery centers throughout Kentucky to provide your facility with HEART bags as well!!

At From the HEART Ministry of KY Inc, we make it our weekly mission to serve those that tend to go unnoticed and unloved. We ensure that they receive a good home cooked meal. Examples of our dinners are; meatloaf, turkey and dressing, homemade pot pies, baked spaghetti etc. We make sure every meal has a protein, vegetable and starch. We pray with them and provide an opportunity to show them the love of Jesus. We establish a relationship with every person we encounter, knowing many of them by their first names. We never neglect an opportunity to show them that we really care about where they are physically or spiritually. We just want to them to feel loved.

Who We Are

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a 2022 Somerset-Pulaski Chamber of Commerce member

Here at From the HEART Ministry of KY Inc, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little love and support. Since our founding in 2020, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

Meet April... April is a wife and mother to 2 wonderful boys. She is currently enrolled in school to acquire a degree in accounting. She loves being crafty and throwing together any kind of celebration. Her friends describe her as loving, compassionate, and a true prayer warrior.

Meet Crystal… Crystal is married and has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 daughter. She is a stay-at-home mom. She is the cook for our group, she laughs as she calls herself the "kitchen technician". She enjoys being outside, camping, hiking and kayaking. Her friends describe her as humble, real and down to earth.

Meet John... John has been married to his wonderful wife for 33 years and has 8 children. He's employed at Blessings of Hope food pantry in Campbellsville as Ministry Relations Director.  His hobbies include minor car repair, swinging a golf club in the back field or just driving around Somerset to see if anyone needs a cold drink, a hot meal or just an encouraging cheerful conversation.  He's always smiling and happy and always willing to lend a hand where needed.

“Assuredly I say to you, in as much as you did it to the least of these, my brethren, you did it to Me” Matthew 25:40
