Thanksgiving 2021

Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!

Psalms 105:1 NKJV

We give thanks to God for all He has done through this ministry. When we begin to count our blessings, we quickly find our cups are overflowing with God's goodness and love.

Today, on Thanksgiving Day, we began early this morning preparing food for our 2nd Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The meal consisted of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, green beans, rolls, and dessert. At 10:30 we gathered and prayed over the meal but we became very aware of God's goodness yet again when we had well over 40 volunteers to show up and help get everything done. Everyone worked together and we were able to provide over 450 meals to anyone needing a Thanksgiving meal and the majority of the deliveries were finished by 1 this afternoon and food orders still coming in until the last minute. Ain't God good y'all?!?

Upon reflection of this day, we see God's hand in everything we do in From the Heart. We see His love pouring through all of the volunteers as we all come together for His glory. Today, that love that God shows us was shared with so many. We delivered meals to people living in their cars, we delivered meals to homes without floors, and we delivered meals to elderly people that had no other plans but to eat chicken noodle soup. That my friends is love.... Christ's love.

So, today, Thanksgiving Day 2021, From the Heart is so very thankful for God and the love that He shows us each and every day. We are thankful to God for placing people in our lives that want to join us in being willing vessels. We are so very thankful for the assignment God has placed on our lives to shine His light in a very dark world and we are so thankful for everyone that prays for us and supports us in all of the shenanigans. We are so very thankful for you!

We pray you have had a blessed Thanksgiving!

We love you all!

From our Hearts to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!!
