Hope

Hope

Ever felt hopeless? Ever felt like life will never be any different than what it is right now? Do you wonder if you are stuck in a season with no light at the end of the tunnel?

Hope in Jesus changes the things in our lives. It begins by changing us and how we see ourselves. Hope comes in many forms: more than likely because someone believed in us and loves us--Jesus did it for us. He became our hope.

Now it is up to each person that follows Jesus to show the love and hope in Christ.

It is a blessing to help another human being develop hope. It is the gift of love in action that shows worth and value for each life we contact.

Tonight we served 153 meals. There were many of the familiar faces we see every week and there were several new people that we were able to love and share hope with.

There were many conversations. There was so much laughter and joy. God blessed us with His presence and several prayers we were praying for were answered.

Hope. Love. Joy. Presence. All we did was give to others what God has so richly given to us.

Side note: Shout out to Thomas for coming and leading us in devotional and prayer before we started. It was a blessing to share that with those waiting.
